SEA TIME, an expansive collection of essays and reference guide for sea-inspired timepieces. SEA TIME is the second in the "TIME" series, 2016 saw the publication of DRIVE TIME: Watches Inspired by Automobiles, Motorcycles, and Racing. Introducing SEA TIME

This 240-page coffee table book interweaves historical photos and ads with modern photography by photographer Peter Eaton Gurnz. Essays by my fellow peers James Lamdin, Xavier Markl, and Jacob Sotak supplement Sigmond and Bernardo's expertly researched book. Notably, acclaimed adventure novelist Clive Cussler provides the foreword. While an afterword by StockX's Blake Buettner helps to round out this star-studded book.

Overall, the book reads nicely, the authors have done a nice job of capturing the essence of the sea and aquatic timepieces. The book weaves between ocean narrative and a sort of dive watch reference guide. Contributing authors also provide standalone retrospectives of their favorite brands and dive related stories.

Watchonista's Testimonial

Watchonista was honored that Sigmond and Bernardo asked for a testimonial for SEA TIME. After reading an advanced copy, I immediately sent the gentlemen the following quote, which ended up making it to the back cover!

"Much like the superlative chronometers contained within this book, SEA TIME delivers impeccably precise information. My esteemed peers Aaron Sigmund and Mark Bernardo provide an immersive look at the watches you’ll need for any aquatic excursion. Bravo fellas!"
